Riya and her mother Dipa lives in the suburban area of Diamond around 80 Km from Kolkata They spends their time watching television musical program, reality shows and movies and encourages Riya for a lime light career in cinema and aspires her becoming a star but grooming for such career takes Riya to an acting school in Kolkata headed by Sonali Roy an ex actress/model in her early days. While learning the skills of the trade she meets Rohit a handsome boy coming from an affluent family and become friends.Riya now enters the realistic world of cinema and metro lifestyle and Rohit introduces her to various people for career opportunities, but it doesn’t come easy. She faces trouble and embarrassing situations which effects her morality. Her hostel acquaintance Jini who associates herself with the elite socialites encourages and explains Riya about the vicious society and the dark image of the often so called intellectuals and cultured people.Jinis acceptance to immoral socializing was not the path Riya wants and miscommunication with Rohit creates a major disturbance in her life. With Support From Sonali & others Riya crosses all the hurdles to achieve the target path of her life.
